Simon Bull (British, b. 1958), Fragrance, 1998. Large limited-edition aquatint on wove paper, extensively hand-colored with acrylic inks and pastel and accented with hand-applied gold foil. Vibrant floral composition featuring large yellow and orange blossoms against a deep cobalt-blue ground with green stems and red floral accents. Titled Fragrance in pencil lower left, numbered 123/350 in pencil, and hand-signed by Simon Bull lower right. According to the accompanying Park West Gallery documentation, each example in the edition was individually hand-colored and therefore constitutes a unique variation. Accompanied by the original Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and Park West appraisal dated November 27, 2012, registration no. A4882.0002. The original Park West retail replacement appraisal was $3,950, including the frame. Medium: Aquatint, hand-colored with acrylic inks and pastel, with hand-applied gold foil on wove paper Edition: 123/350. Dimensions: 23 x 23 inches. Frame: 47 x 47 inches. Condition: Very good overall condition with strong, vibrant colors. Presented under glass in an elaborate gilt frame with wide layered matting.
