Amanda Dunbar (b. 1982), Voice of an Angel – My Tribute to Charlotte Church, 1999/2000. Limited-edition serigraph on canvas after Dunbar's 1999 original oil painting, depicting Welsh singer Charlotte Church performing before a microphone in a highly expressive, vividly colored composition. It is difficult to tell this is not the original painting! Signed Amanda Dunbar within the image lower right and additionally signed Charlotte Church lower center-left. Numbered 11/100 lower left. Published by New Millennium Publishing and produced by Da-Sa Art Studio, California. According to the accompanying certificates, the original Voice of an Angel was painted in oil on canvas in 1999, with this serigraph edition subsequently produced under the artist's direction and approval. The edition consisted of 100 signed and numbered examples plus 30 artist's proofs. Accompanied by extensive original documentation, including two Certificates of Authenticity, original New Millennium Publishing purchase invoice dated March 30, 2000, and a Charlotte Church Voice of an Angel CD cover personally autographed by Charlotte Church. The original invoice records a purchase price of $1,995 plus $60 shipping ($2,055 total). Dunbar attracted considerable attention as a young painter; ABC News later reported that her first solo exhibition at age 16 generated approximately $500,000 in sales and that her artwork subsequently raised substantial sums for charitable causes.
