A finely modeled bronze sculpture depicting a standing and reclining pair of elegant greyhounds on an oval naturalistic base with dark brown to black patina. Executed in a restrained, Art Deco-influenced style that emphasizes the sleek, athletic form of the dogs. Unsigned and mounted on an integral oval plinth. 7 H x 4.5W x 8.5 D inches. Artist Unknown. Condition Report: Very good overall condition with an attractive, even patina. Light surface wear and scattered rubs consistent with age and handling. Noticeable patina loss to the noses of both greyhounds, with minor additional high-point wear and scattered small abrasions. No visible structural damage or repairs observed. This auction house considers the photographs to be the condition report. Provenance: From the private collection of a third-generation collector with a lifelong passion for art, rare coins, and collectibles. Assembled over decades, the collection reflects a discerning eye for quality and has been meticulously preserved in climate-controlled conditions.
