KPM German Porcelain Pitcher with Swan-Form Handle and Gilt Decoration. Dimensions: 7.25 H x 3.75 W x 5 D inches. Elegant German porcelain cabinet pitcher or ewer, bearing the KPM mark to the underside. The vessel features a distinctive classical form with a gracefully elongated spout and an elaborate swan-form handle, a motif popular in late 19th and early 20th century European decorative arts. The body is richly embellished with extensive burnished gilt decoration, accented by a deep green enamel band highlighted with gilt foliate and ribbon motifs. The pitcher is further enhanced by a warm mottled gilt ground and a finely executed pedestal foot. The combination of luxurious gilding, refined proportions, and neoclassical ornamentation reflects the high-quality decorative porcelain associated with German manufactories during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Suitable as a display piece within collections of European porcelain, decorative arts, or gilt ceramics. Age: Late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890–1915. Condition: Light surface wear, scattered scratches, and minor rubbing to the gilt decoration consistent with age and handling. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs observed.
