This collection comprises multiple vintage silver gelatin prints, including two commercial souvenir sets and a formal studio portrait. The first group consists of numerous views of the Tower of London and its environs, featuring prints of Tower Bridge with open bascules, the execution site, and architectural details of the White, Bloody, and Wakefield towers. These prints include descriptive titles in the lower margins. The second set is housed in a printed paper envelope titled GASPE Canada 10 REAL PHOTOGRAPHS FOR YOUR SNAPSHOT ALBUM, published by The International Fine Art Co. Ltd., Montreal, Canada. Subjects include local life and scenery such as an oxcart on the Gaspé Coast, gannet colonies on Bonaventure Island, and Percé Rock. The final item is a studio portrait of three young women, presented in an oval-windowed black textured card mount bearing a blind stamp for Chas. B. Williams, Welland, Ont. Condition: The collection presents in good overall condition for its age. The London photographs show evidence of silver mirroring in the deep black tones. The paper souvenir envelopes exhibit tanning and minor edge wear. The loose prints display light curling and minor bumping to the corners.
