A collection of miscellaneous vintage items including decorative objects and Scottish souvenirs. The lot includes a dark brown leather expanding wallet featuring an embossed sunburst pattern and a white metal slide clasp. The front flap is gilt-stamped with the transcription Present from SALTCOATS, and the interior contains multiple bellows-style compartments. The decorative side buttons are marked 20/-. Also included is an ornate dressing table pot with a frosted glass body featuring black and white enamel geometric patterns. The lid is constructed from pierced gilt metal set with a large central green cabochon finial, four smaller turquoise-coloured cabochons, and various multi-coloured faceted glass stones in red, blue, green, and purple. The metalwork is decorated with small faces. The collection also features a clear molded glass ashtray of square form with a central yellow and black decal transcribed INDUSTRIAL LIFE INSURANCE CO. OF MF A.N. ANNIVERSARY 50 1905-1955. Further items include a small silver-toned metal box with engine-turned linear decoration on the lid and a push-button release, a miniature red and blue tartan souvenir hat with a red woollen toorie, and a vintage roll book with a brown cloth-covered softcover. The roll book contains handwritten entries including one dated June 22. Measurements read from a visible ruler: Wallet width: approx. 11 cm Jewelled pot diameter: approx. 8 cm Ashtray width: approx. 7.5 cm Miniature hat diameter: approx. 6.5 cm Metal box width: approx. 2.5 cm Roll book width: approx. 9 cm. Condition: The glass lid and rim of the jewelled pot show significant cracks. The silver-toned metal box exhibits surface wear and areas of green verdigris. The roll book shows wear to the edges and spine commensurate with age and use. The leather wallet displays general surface wear. The items are overall free of restoration.
