A collection of seven pieces of vintage costume jewellery dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1950s to 1960s, featuring a variety of blue tones. The lot includes a multi-strand draped necklace with light blue and Aurora Borealis (AB) coated faceted rhinestones in a silver-tone setting with a hook clasp. A bib-style fringe necklace features round light blue rhinestones and clear rectangular baguette-cut stones set in silver-tone base metal. A graduated fringe necklace is composed of faceted triangular royal blue glass stones linked by dark-toned metal. The selection also contains a silver-tone leaf-motif necklace set with periwinkle and dark blue opaque moonglow-style cabochons, featuring an adjustable chain and hook clasp. A coordinated set includes a three-strand necklace and matching clip-on earrings, decorated with marbled teal and gold-flecked resin beads, cream faux pearls, and ornate openwork gold-tone spacers, finished with a large textured button clasp. A single-strand light blue rhinestone necklace with a central draped design completes the assortment. Overall width of layout as measured against scale: approx. 26 cm. Condition: The collection is in good vintage condition, exhibiting wear and signs of age. There is visible oxidation and tarnish to the metal finishes throughout. Several rhinestones show signs of greying or foiling degradation, most notably on the fringe necklace. All stones and components appear to be present.
