Two mid-twentieth century costume jewellery necklaces. The first item is a double-strand graduated bead necklace, comprising two rows of spherical base metal beads finished in a gold tone. It is secured with a large circular box clasp featuring a polished, domed top. The second item is an enamelled floral fringe necklace. It features five linked floral stations decorated with white, blue, and green enamel, set with small, clear round-cut glass pastes to the centres. The floral stations are suspended from a fine gold-tone trace link chain with a bolt ring clasp. Necklace one length approx. 43 cm (measured against a ruler) Necklace two length approx. 48 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: Necklace one is in fair vintage condition, displaying significant and widespread wear to the gold-tone plating across many of the beads, which reveals the darker base metal. Necklace two is in good vintage condition, with the enamel work largely intact and all glass pastes present. Both necklaces show minor surface tarnish and light signs of age consistent with use.
