A mid-20th century Art Deco style hinged bangle produced by Romar Quality. The piece is constructed from bi-colour metal, featuring a wide central band of gold-toned openwork filigree set within silver-toned borders. The filigree design consists of repeating vertical bars and scrolls accented by small floral motifs. At the centre sits a raised silver-toned navette-shaped plaque with further filigree detailing, set with a single marquise-cut pink faceted stone, likely glass or paste, held in a multi-prong claw setting. The bracelet is secured by a push-button tongue-and-groove clasp and is fitted with a delicate safety chain. The interior hinge plate is stamped with the maker's mark ROMAR QUALITY. Internal diameter approx. 5.7 cm (measured against a tape measure). Condition: The jewellery is in good vintage condition. The filigree work is intact with no visible breaks. The hinge and clasp function correctly and the safety chain is present. The metal surfaces exhibit light patination and minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
