SP Serving Pieces & Souvenir Flatware

An assortment of silver-plated flatware and serving pieces featuring various decorative motifs and handle materials. The collection includes a butter spreader with an embossed floral daisy pattern on the handle and terminal; the reverse side is marked W. R. followed by a cross symbol, the letter A, and a keystone symbol. A large serving spoon is decorated with high-relief repoussé floral and scrollwork designs on the handle and the wide bowl. A souvenir caddy scoop for Jasper National Park features a maple leaf handle terminal embossed with the word JASPER and a bowl decorated with a raised relief landscape depicting mountains and a small building; the stem is marked EPNS. A pair of serving pieces, consisting of a pointed-bowl spoon and a square-ended server, feature dark green composition handles and stems marked EPNS. A three-tine fork is fitted with an iridescent cream-colored handle and a stem bearing several marks in individual cartouches. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Large spoon: Length approx. 19.7 cm Green-handled pieces: Length approx. 17.5 cm Fork: Length approx. 17.2 cm Spreader: Length approx. 14 cm Caddy scoop: Length approx. 10.8 cm. Condition: The items exhibit surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Varying degrees of tarnish are present across the collection, with the large repoussé spoon showing heavy dark oxidation and patina.
