This novelty cigarette lighter is designed in the form of a percussion cap pocket pistol, featuring a chrome-plated barrel and hammer assembly mounted to a black-finished frame. The bird's head grip is decorated with a white-toned foliate inlay. The ignition mechanism, which incorporates a flint wheel and wick, is situated at the top of the frame where a percussion nipple would typically be found. Stamped markings are present on the frame near the ignition area, although they are not clearly legible. Dimensions: Overall length approx. 18.5 cm; Barrel length approx. 9.5 cm Measured against a tape measure. Condition: The item shows signs of use including carbon buildup within the ignition area and light wear to the finishes. The chrome plating remains largely intact with some minor surface scratching. The black finish on the frame exhibits some loss near the illegible stamped markings. The hammer and trigger appear to function mechanically, though the lighter has not been tested for ignition.
