U.S. M1 bayonet manufactured by Utica Cutlery for the M1 Garand and M1903 Springfield rifles. * Approximately 16 inches overall in scabbard * Approximately 10-inch spear-point blade * Marked "U.C." and “U.S.” with flaming-bomb Ordnance emblem * Black ribbed synthetic grips * Push-button locking mechanism * Green U.S. M7-style scabbard with belt hook * Appears to be an originally manufactured 10-inch blade rather than a cut-down M1905 * WWII to early postwar era, approximately 1943–1953 Good used condition with sharpening or polishing marks, scratches, finish loss, and wear appropriate for age. Scabbard shows scratches, paint wear, and possible older repainting. See photographs for exact condition. This item came from a collector’s estate.
