1776-1976 D Bicentennial Quarters $10 Roll Hazy

A factory crimped paper roll of copper-nickel clad Washington quarters in an orange wrapper printed $10 QUARTERS, which would be forty coins if the roll is full. The roll has never been opened, so only the two end coins can be verified and the interior was never photographed. The obverse end shows a crisp 1776-1976 dual date with a clear D mint mark right of the hair ribbon. The other end shows a full drummer boy reverse with light golden-tan tone at the rim. Both end coins have full detail with no wear on the hair or cheek, dull gray surfaces rather than bright luster, and a few small dark specks. No rim dings or scratches. Worth knowing: the Mint put the dual date on every Bicentennial quarter, half and dollar and began striking them in the summer of 1975, so a dual dated quarter may have been made in either year. There is no silver here. Over 1.6 billion Bicentennial quarters were struck, and circulated clad quarters like these are face value coins. Estimated Value: $9 to $13. Sold as-is.
