A paper roll in a solid orange quarter wrapper. No printed denomination appears on any photographed face, so the $10 face value rests on the wrapper size and handwriting alone; a full roll is 40 coins. The roll is not factory crimped. Both ends were worked open by hand, so only the two end coins are verifiable and roughly 38 interior coins were never photographed. One end shows a Washington obverse with a D mint mark right of the ribbon and a date reading 976, the leading digits hidden by the paper; with the drummer reverse opposite, the dual date is 1776-1976. That obverse coin is grey-brown with moderate wear and softened hair. The reverse end coin is a grey clad quarter, lightly circulated, with softening on the drummer's face. No corrosion or verdigris. Marker on the wrapper reads Bi Centenial Quarters, spelled as written. Bicentennial quarters made for circulation are clad and contain no silver, so a worn roll is a face value item. Estimated Value: $9 to $13. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
