A loose pile of Lincoln Memorial cents, essentially all 1959 and later, with two foreign coins mixed in that are not Lincoln cents. One is a bronze cent-sized coin with a beaded border reading ELIZABETH II around a right facing portrait; the other has a beaded border and the legend fragment D. G. Neither is clear enough to name a country or date. Copper and zinc cents carry no metal story, so this is a bulk lot. Readable dates run 1962 through 1983, including 1964-D, 1969-D and 1981-D, plus several Philadelphia coins showing a clear empty mint mark spot. Many are brown with light wear; a good number keep bright red color. Defects: small bright green verdigris spots on several coins, a violet-blue iridescent film on several others, one cent with a pale pink and white surface wrong for copper, possibly a zinc cent with damaged plating, and carbon flecks. Roughly 90 to 110 cents are visible and stacked, so the count cannot be confirmed. Estimated Value: $2 to $5. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
