A loose group of Washington quarters from the 50 State Quarters series, all copper-nickel clad. State quarters hold no silver whatsoever, so this is a face value lot with no metal story. The photographs show Maryland, North Dakota, Idaho, Alabama, Louisiana, Virginia and Oregon reverses, with legible dates from 2000 through 2007. A D mint mark reads on several obverses and a P on at least one; on most coins that spot is face down, overlapped or lost to glare. The coins run circulated to lightly circulated, with light rub on Washington's cheek and hair. Two carry a yellow-orange stain across the hair and neck, and there are scattered contact marks and a few rim nicks. About 40 quarters are visible in the single overview photo, but they overlap and stack two and three deep, so the count cannot be confirmed. The ten-year program put over 34 billion quarters into circulation, which is why worn ones are still spending money. Estimated Value: $9 to $13. Sold as-is.
