A loose group of 50 State Quarters, the program that ran from 1999 to 2008 and released five new reverse designs a year. These are copper-nickel clad and hold no silver. The coins were shot only as a heaped, overlapping pile, so the count of 40 cannot be verified. Roughly 35 to 40 pieces are visible, coins underneath are hidden, and the balance cannot be confirmed from the photographs. States identified include Oklahoma, Utah, Missouri, New York, West Virginia, Oregon, North Carolina, Nebraska and New Hampshire, with dates read from 2000 to 2007. A D mint mark shows on several obverses, but most are not resolvable and none are claimed for the lot. Condition is mixed, mostly lightly circulated to about uncirculated, many with full satin luster and a minority dull and grimy. Defects: small bright green corrosion specks on at least three coins, on Washington's neck and in the obverse field, one coin with a heavy yellow-tan chemical looking stain across the face, and one or two darkly toned. Estimated Value: $9 to $14. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
