This group of vacuum flasks features various designs manufactured by Thermos and Aladdin Industries. The first item is a metal-bodied flask with a grey cross-hatched pattern, marked THERMOS on the side and base, with the bottom reading MADE IN CANADA by CANADIAN THERMOS PRODUCTS LIMITED. The second is a red metal flask decorated with silver-tone geometric graphics, marked on the base as ICY-HOT by THE AMERICAN THERMOS BOTTLE CO. of NORWICH, CONN., with model number 2210. The third is a lithographed metal Aladdin Best-Buy WIDE MOUTH bottle in a red and yellow plaid pattern with a gold-tone GUARANTEED label; the base identifies the manufacturer as Aladdin Industries, Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee. The fourth is a grey ribbed Aladdin DURA-CLAD bottle, also from Nashville, Tennessee. Each flask is fitted with a plastic screw-on cup and an internal stopper. Dimensions (measured against a tape measure showing inches only): heights ranging from approx. 21.5 cm to 30 cm. Condition: The collection shows signs of age and previous use. Visible oxidation and surface wear are present on the metal bases and rims. The painted and lithographed bodies exhibit various scratches, scuffs, and small areas of paint loss. The plastic cups and stoppers show superficial scratches and some internal discolouration consistent with use.
