One mid-20th-century vanity set by Amor, consisting of a pocket lighter and a lipstick holder. Both items are finished in cream crackle enamel over gold-tone metal. The lighter base features a stamped script Amor signature. The lipstick holder is stamped Made in W. Germany to the base and incised GERMAN AND FOREIGN to the side. The set is housed in a circular presentation case with a travel-themed black fabric exterior featuring destinations including London, Madrid, Bombay, and Rio de Janeiro. The interior is fitted with champagne-coloured satin lining and gold cord piping, including compartments for a small cleaning brush and a clear miniature funnel. Lighter height approx. 5 cm Lipstick holder length approx. 5.7 cm. Condition: The set shows moderate age-related wear. The satin interior displays staining and foxing. Tarnish and minor pitting are visible on the gold-tone metal, particularly on the lipstick holder. The crackle finish is intact but exhibits some darkening in the fissures. The outer case shows minor fraying to the corded edges. There is one piece missing.
