A vintage Zippo Slim windproof pocket lighter featuring a chrome-plated exterior. The casing is decorated with an engine-turned pattern of vertical stripes on both the front and reverse sides. The front panel includes a rectangular cartouche engraved with a script monogram reading DB. The base is stamped with the cursive Zippo trademark logo. The lighter includes an internal fuel insert with a perforated windproof chimney and flint wheel mechanism. Dimensions: H approx. 5.7 cm. Condition: The lighter displays significant signs of age and wear. There is extensive plating loss across the exterior surfaces, particularly along the edges where the base metal is visible. Pitting, surface scratches, and tarnishing are present. The internal chimney and mechanism exhibit heavy carbon buildup and soot residue. The hinge shows signs of mechanical wear.
