A mid-century style handbag by Royal featuring a woven wicker exterior in a box silhouette. The bag is designed with cream-coloured synthetic trim, twin top handles, and a gold-tone metal latch closure to the front. The interior is lined with a patterned fabric displaying geometric and fleur-de-lis motifs in yellow, blue, and brown, and includes a fabric label marked MADE IN HONG KONG. The base is fitted with four protective plastic feet. Accompanying the bag is a matching cream-coloured synthetic wallet with multiple compartments, featuring a kiss-lock clasp, a zipped pocket, and a snap-button closure. The interior of the wallet is embossed with the text BY ROYAL Made In Hong Kong. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Handbag base: approx. 23 cm (9 inches) x 10 cm (4 inches) Wallet: approx. 19 cm (7.5 inches) x 11 cm (4.25 inches). Condition: The set is in vintage condition with visible signs of wear consistent with age. There is tarnish and oxidation to the gold-tone metal hardware, particularly on the wallet zipper and clasp. The cream synthetic trim shows surface scuffing and minor discoloration. The wicker exterior remains largely intact, while the fabric lining of the handbag exhibits some fraying along the upper interior edges.
