An assortment of vintage handkerchiefs presented within an original red and cream Simpson's retail box. The collection includes various designs such as red and white check and plaid patterns, a white example with scalloped edges and floral embroidery, and a navy blue handkerchief with a white floral print, alongside several plain pastel and patterned pieces. The handkerchiefs are crafted from fine materials such as cotton and linen. The box features the Simpson's script logo, associated with the historic London department store, Simpson of Piccadilly. Box dimensions (measured against a ruler, inches only shown): L approx. 11.6 in x W approx. 7.5 in. Condition: The handkerchiefs exhibit signs of age and previous use, including loose threads, fraying to the edges, and areas of light staining and foxing. The original box is in poor condition, showing significant surface loss to the red finish, scuffing throughout, and split corners.
