A vintage beaded envelope-style pouch by Lyons of London Company Ltd, designed to contain 'Fabulous Fold-ups' slippers. This single item is meticulously hand-decorated with navy blue and mauve glass seed and bugle beads on a fabric foundation. The design features a scalloped fold-over flap and an intricate pattern of navy blue concentric circles, almond-shaped eye motifs, and geometric borders, all set against a contrasting mauve beaded ground. The interior retains two original labels: a pink scalloped manufacturer's label and a cream-coloured tag identifying the maker as Lyons of London Co. Ltd. of London, Canada, stamped with the style number 702, shoe size 7 1/2, and the colour 'NAVY'. Condition: The pouch is in good vintage condition. The beadwork is largely intact, with some minor gaps and visible threads between rows characteristic of its age and hand-construction. The labels and fabric base show light signs of wear and age-related discolouration.
