This set features vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrintem 8x30 binoculars, renowned for classic German optical craftsmanship. The left prism plate is stamped with the boxed "CARL ZEISS JENA" logo, and the right with the model designation "DELTRINTEM / 8 x30." The lower central hinge cap bears the serial number 1537035, with 107011 above "GERMANY" on the upper hinge. The binoculars have a metal body, vulcanite textured wrap, leather neck strap, and measure approximately 4.5 inches high by 6.25 inches wide, weighing 679 grams. Central hinge and focus wheel move smoothly, though the right diopter adjustment ring is stiff. Lenses are clear and defect-free, with original finish and light surface wear. The fitted hard-leather carry case, measuring 5.25 by 6.5 inches, is stamped "CARL ZEISS JENA" above "MADE IN GERMANY" on the inner rim and retains its original shoulder and stud-latch straps, showing weathering from age.
