This pair of German 6x military field glasses from the early 20th century was manufactured by Voigtländer & Sohn, Braunschweig. Stamped markings on the upper prism cover plates include the framed "Voigtländer BRAUNSCHWEIG" logo, serial number 63833, model designation "6x," and a military acceptance mark above "6x." The binoculars measure 4.25 inches high by 6.5 inches wide (10.8 cm H x 16.5 cm W) and weigh 525 grams (1 lb 2.5 oz), and feature brass end hardware and textured black body panels. Functional details include a smooth central hinge and individual diopter adjustments, with clear optics across both channels. The right eyecup shows two side chips, while the frame and lens caps have minor paint touch-up and finishes demonstrate typical brassing and wear for their era.
