This World War II-era Dienstglas 6x30 military binocular set was produced by Herman Wöhler in Kassel, Germany. The upper prism plate bears the framed 'D. WÖHLER KASSEL' manufacturer's emblem, alongside the model and optical specifications: 'Dienstglas 6x30', serial number 'Nr. 22313', reticle unit 'H/6400', and letter 'M'. Measuring 4.25 inches high by 6.5 inches wide (10.8 cm H x 16.5 cm W) and weigh 544 grams (1 lb 3.2 oz), this set features a metal frame and replacement textured body material. There is clear optical viewing through the right channel, but the left side shows slight hazing, and a severe star-pattern crack is visible on the right objective lens. The internal reticle scale is present. Both the prism caps and eyecups have been repainted, and the re-textured body shows cracking along the right barrel. Central hinge and diopter adjustments remain smooth.
