An authentic WWII-era United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) enlisted service uniform ensemble comprising a four-pocket service coat, matching trousers, and tan wool field shirt. The service coat is constructed from olive drab wool serge featuring brass U.S. and USAAF collar discs, a four-button front with brass Great Seal buttons, scalloped breast pocket flaps, and open hip pockets. The sleeve insignia includes Technical Sergeant rank chevrons (3 chevrons, 2 rockers) on both sleeves, an embroidered USAAF shoulder sleeve insignia on the upper left shoulder, five gold bullion overseas service bars (representing 2.5 years of overseas duty), and a 3-year service stripe on the lower left forearm. A ribbon bar mounted above the left breast pocket displays the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal (with two bronze service stars), and World War II Victory Medal. Coat chest measures 19 inches flat across (pit-to-pit); shoulder-to-shoulder width measures 17inches; overall coat length measures 30 inches. The accompanying trousers measure a 32-inch waist, with the interior waistband ink-stamped "1878". Condition appears overall very good to excellent, displaying clean wool fabric, tight stitching, and complete period insignia with light age-appropriate wear. A well-appointed, complete WWII USAAF Pacific Theater veteran's service uniform group.
