A World War II German Military Leather Binocular Case, this hard-leather optic carrier was produced by Kinnach & Brunn in Kaiserslautern, Germany, as evidenced by the maker stamp on the back read "KINNACH • BRUNN / KAISERSLAUTERN / 1942". The top lid features a circular maker emblem, and the front closure tab is stamped with a crossed-swords symbol. The case measures 9 inches high by 8 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep (22.9 cm H x 20.3 cm W x 6.4 cm D). Constructed from heavy molded brown leather with reinforced stitching, riveted stress points, and nickel/brass hardware, the case retains its leather shoulder strap and front stud-latch closure. All leather surfaces remain in unrestored, weathered condition with no repairs, displaying age-appropriate scuffing, creasing, verdigris patina around the rivets, and natural surface wear throughout.
