This original Third Reich vertical podium banner measures 31" x 38" and features a distinctive white rectangular border appliquéd to the red cotton field. These specific dimensions were standard for draping over the front of speaker lecterns or along the center of high-ranking officials' desks during local party meetings. The central emblem is a multi-piece construction, consisting of a black cotton swastika zig-zag stitched onto a white circular field and appliquéd to the center of the banner. The bottom edge is finished with a heavy, cream-colored twisted cotton fringe. The reverse exhibits reinforced machine stitching, confirming its single-sided design for wall or lectern display. The fabric is in excellent condition, showing only a single small puncture on the right margin and minor localized foxing on the white panels. BP/SW
