ca. late 19th-early 20th century; Softwood stained wall pocket with scroll-cut backboard, mounted scroll cut five-point star and trim on front of pocket, round nail mounted backboard with "fiddle-back" scrollwork design and eye-screw for hanging, reddish-brown stain and light varnish finish, 10" x 4 1/2" x 14 1/4". Victorian era chip-carved decorated towel bar with wooden spear tip, peg mounted to decorative cut back board with three round chip-carved medallions with stars and reddish-brown stained surface. The backboard has the maker's name in pencil on reverse that appears to be "Henry J. Fisher (?)", 19 7/8" x 3 1/4" x 4". Condition: both "as found" no noted damage.
