ca. mid-late 19th century; Signed and patent dated "Louise P. Smith, Patent June 9, '74" roller sieve with hand crank pin-type roller in peg and pin constructed box with mounted perforated tin sieve and screw-mounted frame arm for resting atop a bowl, 9" x 9" x 5 3/4", Condition: Search for patent information was unfound. Owner has tagged a cottage cheese press, however several models of similarity to flour sifting or fruit pressing tools. Good condition. Second is attributed to Pennsylvania German community, two-part wooden slaw board with heart motif cut-out hanger in arched top, retaining an old red wash finish, 9" x 17 1/4" x 1", Condition: Hardwood species board, age of red wash finish is unknown
