Bob White Attributed Archie Comics Moose "Lawfully Yours!" Original Layout Art Vintage original Archie Comics preliminary/layout artwork attributed to artist Bob White, featuring Moose Mason in a story titled “Moose in ‘Lawfully Yours!’” This piece originates from the same collection of original Bob White/Archie production material, supporting the Bob White attribution. The artwork itself is unsigned. Executed primarily in graphite pencil on an oversized sheet, the page presents an early-stage breakdown for a Moose story, with panel borders, dialogue-balloon placements, character positioning, action and composition laid out prior to the creation of finished comic artwork. Several panels contain considerably more developed character work, while others remain in loose construction form, providing an excellent look at the preliminary stages of professional comic-book production. The story title “Moose in ‘Lawfully Yours!’” is handwritten directly across the page. The final panel is numbered “6” and marked “The End,” suggesting this was the concluding page of the story. Bob White was an important Archie Comics artist and is particularly associated with the publisher’s distinctive 1960s material, making surviving preliminary production work an interesting artifact of Archie publishing history. Condition: Displays age toning, scattered staining and discoloration, handling wear, edge/corner wear and creasing consistent with age and use as working production material.
