A Pair of German Parian Bisque Head Dolls

This pair of German Parian bisque head dolls consists of a 12 inch male and a 10 inch female, both featuring shoulder head construction with molded and painted blonde hair and blue eyes. The male doll is unmarked and wears his original dark brown velveteen bolero jacket and knickers accented with mother-of-pearl buttons, while the female doll bears an incised 0 mold mark and has been redressed in a lace bodice and cream satin skirt with silver ribbon trim. Each doll is finished with bisque lower limbs, including molded footwear, and stuffed cloth bodies. Boy doll: 12 inches Lady doll: 10 inches. These dolls remain in attractive condition with expected light surface wear and minor textile aging consistent with their period. The bisque parts show typical surface dust, while the clothing displays gentle fading and minor fraying to the decorative trim.
