An antique 17 inch Armand Marseille mold 390 bisque socket head doll featuring weighted glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with molded teeth, and a brown wig. The doll is mounted on a fully jointed composition and wood body and is accompanied by an extensive multi-piece period ensemble including a green velvet and satin dress, matching floral hat, black lace veil, undergarments, stockings, and shoes. Markings on the reverse of the head include Made in Germany, Armand Marseille,390n, D.R.G.M. 246/1, and A. 1. M. Height: 17 inches. The bisque head remains in good condition with no visible cracks or hairlines, while the composition body displays expected finish wear and crazing consistent with age. The sleep eye mechanism is functional, and the clothing shows anticipated age-related wear.
