Offered is a lot of 40 2001-D Kentucky State Quarters, all struck at the Denver Mint. These coins feature the Kentucky State Quarter design honoring “My Old Kentucky Home.” Please review the photos for the exact condition of the coins included. The Kentucky State Quarter was released on October 15, 2001, as the 15th coin in the U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarters Program. The reverse features Federal Hill, the historic mansion associated with My Old Kentucky Home, along with a Thoroughbred racehorse—a nod to Kentucky's famous horse-racing tradition. The 2001-D Kentucky Quarter had a mintage of 370,564,000 coins. These regular-issue quarters are composed of copper-nickel clad and weigh approximately 5.67 grams each.
