1914 Barber Dime, struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This classic early-20th-century U.S. silver dime is a popular issue from the Barber series and a great addition for collectors of historic U.S. coinage. Please review the photos for the exact condition, surfaces, strike, and overall appearance. The Barber Dime was designed by Charles E. Barber and was produced from 1892 through 1916. The obverse features Liberty wearing a laurel wreath, while the reverse displays a wreath surrounding the denomination “ONE DIME.” The 1914 Philadelphia issue had a mintage of 17,360,000 coins. Philadelphia Mint examples carry no mint mark. The coin was struck in 90% silver and 10% copper, weighs approximately 2.50 grams, measures about 17.9 mm in diameter, and features a reeded edge.
