1911-D Barber Dime, struck at the Denver Mint. This classic early-20th-century U.S. silver dime is a popular issue from the Barber series and a desirable date-and-mint example for collectors. Please review the photos for the exact condition, surfaces, strike, and overall appearance. The Barber Dime was designed by Charles E. Barber and was produced from 1892 through 1916. The obverse features Liberty wearing a laurel wreath, while the reverse displays a wreath surrounding the denomination “ONE DIME.” The 1911-D had a mintage of 3,050,000 coins, making it considerably scarcer than many Philadelphia issues from the same period. The “D” mint mark appears on the reverse below the wreath. The coin was struck in 90% silver and 10% copper, weighs approximately 2.50 grams, measures about 17.9 mm in diameter, and features a reeded edge.
