Bobcat Mount on Rustic Driftwood Diorama Base

Updated August 18, 2026

A full-body taxidermy mount of a North American bobcat presented in a naturalistic standing pose atop a rustic woodland diorama base composed of weathered driftwood, faux rockwork, earth-toned groundwork, and dried botanical elements. The animal is modeled alert with upright ears, forward-facing glass eyes, and characteristic mottled gray-brown fur with spotted markings along the body and legs, the compact tail extending naturally behind. The mount is elevated on a substantial irregular driftwood formation that adds height and dramatic sculptural presence, with the circular groundwork finished to suggest a rocky forest habitat. Condition is fair overall with visible age and display wear to the taxidermy, including uneven or somewhat dry fur, minor losses or thinning, wear around the facial features and ears, and general surface dust and discoloration; the diorama base likewise shows cracking, losses, loose or deteriorated natural materials, and general wear consistent with age and handling. The mount retains strong decorative character and would appeal to collectors of sporting, lodge, natural history, and rustic décor. Recent auction catalogs continue to offer full-body bobcat mounts in comparable formats, confirming an active secondary market for examples of this type. Measures 32"H x 28"W x 26"D
