1994 CRAFTSMAN HEART CUT-OUT WOOD DROP LEAF TABLE

NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > Standing 23-1/2" H, this handcrafted pine side table measures 24" x 28" across the top when both leaves are raised. The fixed center section measures approximately 11" W, with hinged drop leaves extending from either side to create the full tabletop. Each leaf is supported by a distinctive metal locking bracket mounted beneath the top. Lifting a leaf by hand automatically engages the bracket and holds it securely in the raised position; pulling the loop release allows the support to disengage so the leaf can be lowered. With both leaves down, the table assumes a narrow compact form suitable for placement beside a chair, against a wall or in a small room. The table is constructed with shaped end supports featuring paired heart cutouts, scalloped lower edges and curved profiles. A full-width lower shelf provides additional storage or display space. The top is assembled from several pine boards with rounded corners and a molded edge, while the warm reddish-brown finish allows the knots and natural grain of the wood to remain visible. Hand carved lettering to the underside of the table reads MADE BY W. W. BOX ~ DEC. 1994, identifying this as an individually crafted piece rather than factory produced furniture.
