Pair CONCRETE URN GARDEN PLANTERS & IRON TRELLIS

NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A pair of substantial cast concrete garden urn planters, each standing 20" tall and measuring 16" in diameter across the top. Both are fitted with a 20" tall twisted iron tuteur or trellis, creating an overall structural height of approximately 40", exclusive of the abundant trailing foliage. Presented in the Neoclassical campana-form tradition, the urns feature flared and vertically fluted bodies, gadrooned lower bowls, molded collars, fluted pedestal stems and square plinth bases. Their architectural form draws upon the monumental garden urns associated with European estate gardens and American Classical Revival landscapes. A weathered blue-green verdigris-style finish accentuates the deeply modeled ornament and contributes an established garden appearance. Both urns are offered as shown in the combined image, planted with healthy, well-established English ivy trained through and around the iron trellises, with long cascading vines extending beyond the vessels. CONDITION REPORT & SPECIAL NOTICE > Have not been moved or inspected for structural integrity. The urns, soil, established ivy and iron trellises create substantial weight and will require careful, specialized handling for safe removal and transport.
