SPOONS SILVERPLATE SERVING UTENSILS CANDLE SNUFFER

AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Mixed group of vintage silverplate table and serving utensils, including five teaspoons, one large shell-form serving tong, one scissor-form serving tong and one candle snuffer. The five teaspoons are in International Silver’s Signature pattern, introduced in 1960, with shaped handles decorated in traditional floral and scroll ornament. The spoons exhibit notable tarnish together with areas of intrusive green oxidation or residue. The large one-piece spring serving tong measures approximately 8-1/2" L and has broad opposing shell-form gripping ends measuring approximately 3" x 2-3/4". One end is concave and the other convex, allowing the utensil to lift rolls, pastries, sandwiches or other table foods without piercing them. The separate two-part scissor-form serving tong has finger-ring handles, one solid engraved paddle and one opposing pierced gripping end. It is marked MADE IN CHINA at the central hinge. Completing the group is a long-handled candle snuffer with a turned wood handle, slender metal shaft and bell-form extinguisher. The snuffer has seen substantial use, with pronounced darkening and residue around the bell and adjoining metalwork. CONDITION REPORT > Specific condition issues are noted above.
