ERTL JOHN DEERE 3010 Diecast TOY FARM TRACTOR

AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Despite lacking the smoke stack, a nice example of a vintage Ertl John Deere 3010 narrow-front diecast toy tractor measuring 8.5" long × 4.75" wide across the rear tires × 4.5" tall. The vertical smoke stack originally fitted to the hood is now lacking. The tractor is finished in traditional John Deere green and yellow with applied ~ JOHN DEERE ~ side graphics, molded engine and grille detailing, yellow wheel centers, black rubber tires, a yellow pan-style seat and open three-spoke steering wheel. The narrow-front arrangement incorporates paired front wheels beneath the hood, while the larger rear wheels have deeply treaded tires. A fixed drawbar hitch at the rear allows compatible farm implements to be attached. The model represents the John Deere 3010, part of the company’s New Generation tractor line introduced for the 1960 model year. Ertl, founded in Dyersville, Iowa, in 1945, became widely recognized for licensed diecast farm toys and produced numerous John Deere tractor models for play and collection. CONDITION REPORT > Minor blemish to hood decals, otherwise an appealing vintage farm toy retaining the principal tractor body, seat, steering wheel, wheels, tires and rear hitch. As noted, the smoke stack is lacking.
