NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A vintage educational poster titled ~ MISSISSIPPI WILDFLOWERS ~, custom framed under glass within a dark stained wood frame. The presentation includes a broad forest-green mat surrounding the poster with narrow cream and gold borders. The poster displays 26 numbered color photographs of wildflowers found in Mississippi, accompanied by an identification key listing each common and botanical name. Subjects include False Dandelion, Primrose, Kudzu, Heal-All, Calliopsis, Morning Glory, Black-Eyed Susan, Daisy Fleabane, Cardinal Flower, Narrowleaf Sunflower, Queen Anne’s Lace, Vetch, Obedient Plant, Butterfly Weed, Verbena, Indian Blanket, Honeysuckle, Spiderwort, Ageratum, Bitterweed, Pitcher Plant, Crimson Clover, Goldenrod, Ox-Eye Daisy, Rose Mallow and Coneflower. A printed notation states that additional wildflowers are shown on the reverse. The selection combines native and naturalized plants, consistent with Mississippi botanical references that recognize both groups among wildflowers occurring across the state.
