NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A framed reproduction of Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s floral still life commonly titled Spring Bouquet, measuring exactly 18.75" wide × 24" tall overall. Presented under glass, the image depicts an abundant arrangement of white, blue, yellow and softly colored flowers gathered in a blue-and-white ceramic vase and arranged upon a stone ledge. The original composition was painted by French Impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1866 and is recognized for the dense, cascading bouquet, blue-and-white vessel and softly modeled floral forms. This example is clearly a later printed reproduction rather than an original painting, with Renoir’s reproduced signature visible at the lower right. The image is housed in a custom wood frame having a muted gold outer finish, narrow black inner molding and gold sight edge. The reverse bears the framer’s stamp ~ THE SNOOP SHOP ~ COSBY ST. ~ CENTREVILLE, MISS. ~, together with a handwritten notation reading ~ Custom Frames by ~. The framed print was likely acquired or assembled for the prior owner during the 1960s. CONDITION REPORT > An attractive vintage framed presentation ~ A rather well preserved example.
