AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A coordinated group of three heavy cobalt blue glass vases comprising a matching pair standing approximately 15.5" tall with 6" diameter mouths and a smaller central vase standing approximately 8" tall with a 4.75" diameter mouth. Each tall vase weighs approximately 3 pounds, while the smaller example weighs approximately 2 pounds, giving the trio a notably substantial presence. The matching pair presents elongated cylindrical bodies with gently narrowed waists and broad flared openings, while the shorter vase repeats the same hourglass inspired silhouette in a compact proportion. Thick glass walls, saturated cobalt coloring, smooth surfaces, and bold sculptural profiles create a striking architectural arrangement. Swirled manufacturing marks beneath the bases indicate molded or machine assisted production, while the considerable weight and smoothly finished forms reflect quality decorative glass manufacture. No labels, signatures, or factory marks are present, leaving the maker and country of origin unidentified. The clean silhouettes and intense cobalt color are characteristic of later twentieth century Modernist decorative design, when richly colored glass vessels were widely used as strong standalone accents within Mid Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Postmodern, and contemporary interiors. The forms likely date from the latter half of the twentieth century, though an exact decade cannot be established without surviving factory identification. Well suited for long stemmed flowers, branches, ornamental grasses, or independent display, the graduated trio provides dramatic color and substantial decorative presence for a mantel, console, dining table, entryway, or display shelf.
