AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Despite some minor chips, as noted in the condition report below, a striking A striking three piece red cut to clear glass mantel garniture in the Bohemian tradition, comprising a tall covered jardiniere and two matching flared vases. The set reflects the elaborate Victorian Revival style, drawing inspiration from nineteenth century Bohemian mantel garnitures made for richly furnished European and American interiors. Based on the form and decorative character, the set likely dates from the mid to late twentieth century, though no manufacturer or country of origin has been established. The covered jardiniere stands approximately 15" tall to the lid finial, with the bowl measuring approximately 4.75" in diameter across the mouth. Each coordinating vase stands approximately 8" tall × 5" in diameter. The deep ruby overlay is cut through to reveal clear glass beneath, creating the bold contrast and reflective brilliance long associated with Bohemian decorative glass. The covered centerpiece features a domed lid with raised finial, while the paired vases provide a balanced formal arrangement for a mantel, sideboard, console, or display cabinet. The covered vessel may be displayed as a jardiniere, decorative urn, or lidded centerpiece, while the matching vases may hold floral arrangements or stand independently as coordinating accents. CONDITION REPORT > Examine photographs closely to notice one small chip to the side and top of the jardiniere bowl rim, and same to one vase.
