A collection of CA 5-cent coins featuring a variety of dates and designs spanning from 1944 to 1974. The lot includes obverse portraits of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. The George VI specimens bear the legend GEORGIVS VI D:G: REX ET IND: IMP: and the Elizabeth II specimens bear the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse designs include the standard beaver on a log motif, alongside the 1944 wartime V and torch issue. Struck in silver-coloured metals, the coins include both twelve-sided (dodecagonal) and round examples. Clearly visible dates include 1944, 1946, 1947, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1958, 1959, 1961, 1966, 1968, and 1974. Condition: Items are in circulated condition, displaying surface wear, bag marks, and scratches to the high points of the designs. Some coins exhibit heavy toning, surface corrosion, or oxidation.
