A group of four Canadian silver coins comprising a 1966 fifty-cent piece, a 1966 ten-cent piece, and two 1965 twenty-five-cent pieces. Struck in 800 fine silver, the obverse of each coin features the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the Latin inscription ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse designs consist of the Canadian coat of arms on the fifty-cent piece with the motto A MARI USQUE AD MARE, the schooner Bluenose on the ten-cent piece, and a caribou head on the twenty-five-cent pieces. All coins feature reeded edges. Condition: The 1966 fifty-cent coin exhibits distinct iridescent rainbow toning along a portion of the rim. One 1965 twenty-five-cent coin shows heavy dark tarnish and surface oxidation. The coins display varying degrees of circulation wear and surface marks consistent with grades ranging from fine to very fine.
