A group of Canadian silver 10-cent coins issued to commemorate the centennial of the Canadian Confederation in 1967. The obverse of each coin features the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse depicts a mackerel fish, designed by Alex Colville, with the inscriptions 10 CENTS, CANADA, and the commemorative dual dates 1867-1967. The coins are struck in a silver alloy, with 1967 issues traditionally composed of either 80% or 50% silver. Each specimen features a reeded edge. Condition: The coins are in circulated condition, showing variable degrees of surface wear, light scratches, and contact marks consistent with age and use. Toning is evident across the group, with one specimen exhibiting significant dark brown oxidation and heavy toning across the obverse field.
