Featuring a relief pewter lid topped with a cannon and soldier finial, this porcelain beer stein is decorated with vivid polychrome enamels and regimental motifs. The vessel displays an ornate cartouche, crowned by a "15" on a red field, framed with German Imperial flags and military symbols. Inscribed with "2. Batterie Kreusfeld 1895-97 Strubberg," this piece commemorates army service in the late 19th-century Imperial German artillery. The side panels illustrate uniformed soldiers in action and a detailed roll call of reservists. A lithophane scene appears at the base, visible when held to light. The thumb lift is designed as an eagle. Height is 10.25" tall and 14" diameter. No significant surface cracks or chips visible. PM
